Room Cleanliness

Please note that Katong Hostel takes a serious view in the students’ room cleanliness. Random room inspection will be conducted to ensure the cleanliness in well maintained in a hygienic way.  

Points to note :

• No cooking is allowed in the rooms at all times.
• Cooking utensils/appliances must be washed after eating.
• No leftovers to be seen lying around.
• Foods must to be sealed or well kept in air-tight containers and etc.
• All waste/litter should be removed on a daily basis into the nearest trash bin.
• No smoking in the rooms at all times.

The above points mentioned above are to help to ensure that all the rooms are free from pests and insects. 

We seek your co-operation for the benefit of everyone in creating a better living environment for everyone in Katong Hostel.

Departure time from Hostels of Pearl Hill , Cambridge & Katong at 5:30pm to Padang at 6:00pm

 Departure from Padang will be 8:30pm to each Hostels

Singapore bid’s For 1st Youth Olympics 2010

Dear All Pearl Hill;Katong; Cambridge Students

on behalf of the managment ,  we  would like to invite 45 student representitives of  Pearl Hill Hostel; Cambridge Hostel & 100 students of Katong Hostel  to  support & vote Singapore as Host for the 1st Summer Youth Olympics 2010 . On 21-Feb-08, is Signapore Big Day. to show your support, Please come and join the big day.

For those already registered, please gather office earlier to get everything will be ready before go to Padang.

 the bus will departure from Pearl Hill Hostel at 5:30pm to Padang (near to CITY Hall) at 6:00pm.

Notice about Youth Olympic

Dear Resident @ Cambridge, Pearl Hill, and Katong Hostel:

We are invited by the STB (Singapore Tourism Board) to attend and event about Youth Olympic.

It is on the Thursday 21st Feb. 2008. Please be at office around 4:00 (for make-ups and “things” given to get ready)

1. Cambridge Hostel would like to invite 40 plus residents

2. Pearl Hill Hostel would like to invite 40 plus residents

3. Katong Hostel would like to invite 90 plus students

The hostels will have bus ready at 5:30 PM to bring us to the event. We will be back around 10:00 PM
